Qualifications you could gain: Entry level certificate, Progression Award.

Progression: Level 1 course

Entry requirements: No qualifications, Interview and assessment.

Duration: 1 Year

Qualifications you could gain: Progression Award/Certificate, NVQ Level 1 or VRQ Level 1, Relevant Level 1 occupational qualifications.

Progression: Level 2 course

Entry requirements: 3 GCSEs at E or above or an equivalent Level 1 qualification, Interview and assessment.

Duration: 1 Year

Qualifications you could gain: BTEC First Diploma, CACHE Certificate, NVQ Level 2 or VRQ Level 2, Relevant Level 2 or occupational qualifications

Progression: Level 3 course, Employment

Entry requirements: 4 GCSEs at grade C or above (English and maths preferred or an equivalent level 2 qualification), Interview.

Accounting technician
Accounting technicians help manage a the finances and accounts of a business. 
Salary - for foundation and intermediate levels, salaries can range between £15,000 to £22,000 a year. Qualified technicians can earn up to £30,000 a year. 
How to get this job - Most employers look for five GCSEs, including English and Maths, and a relevant Level 3 business qualification. Once you have done that, you will need to look at The ACCA's Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting Qualification, which leads on to the CAT

Insurance broker
Insurance brokers act as the link between companies and customers, making sure that their clients get the best deals possible. 
Salary - Trainees can expect to earn between £15,000 to £23,000 a year when they begin and salaries can rise to as much as £70,000 for senior brokers. 
How to get this job - There are many ways to become an insurance broker, and many companies may take trainees on with a relevant Level 3 business qualification. However, with a business degree, such as the Business and Economics BA (Hons) from the University of Kent, trainees often can go onto company graduate schemes.

Payroll administrator
Payroll administrators make sure everyone gets paid at the end of the month 
Salary - Payroll administrator pay can vary from company to company, but you can expect around £14,000 as a starting wage 
How to get this job - to be a Payroll administrator you need 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths and a bussiness Level 3 qualification could be useful. AAT qualifications can often help improve your progression prospects.
