Who is this course for? This is an intensive full­time course designed for anyone who wants to apply for a degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Art and Design.

What will I study? 2 and 3­Dimensional subjects such as: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Print Making, Ceramics, 3­D Design, Product Design, Surface Pattern Design, Digital Photography, Graphic Design, Illustration, History of Art and Design, Contextual Studies, Computer­Aided Design (CAD). Drawing is central to the course, and you’ll keep drawings and notebooks. There are residential trips, which may include a visit to a European city, plus regular visits to galleries, museums and other places of interest, which may incur additional costs. You may also take part in projects within the community. You will specialise in one area and compile a portfolio of your work. This course can be studied part­time for 1 year.
