Those looking to gain the key skills and experience required to work in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. The course can lead to employment or a Level 2 NVQ.
Entry Requirements
- 3 GCSEs at Grade E or above
- Interview and assessment of English and Maths
What You Will Study?
- Shampooing and conditioning
- Cutting and blow drying techniques
- Health and safety
- Reception duties and client care
- Client care
- Assist with colouring
- You will be required to attend one day a week in a salon of your choice as work experience
How You Will Be Assessed?
Practical, oral and written assessments are carried out throughout the course.
Where It Can Take You?
Hairdressing NVQ Level 2 or employment within a hairdressing salon or similar establishment.
