Who Is The Course For

Mature learners wishing to gain a basic skill of hair removal using the threading method.

Entry Requirements

• You need no prior experience.
• Basic English - spoken and written.

What You Will Study

• Health and safety
• Client Care
• Basic understanding of hair removal
• Practical skills in hair removal by using the threading technique:
• Upper lip
• Chin
• Face
• Shaping eyebrows

 How You Will Be Assessed

• You will need to complete three units to gain the full qualification.
• Practical /oral assessment- you will need to demonstrate skills learnt
• Assignments
• Portfolio of evidence

Where It Can Take You

• Employment- Threading in beauty salons
• Beauty Therapy level 2 

Course Details

• The course runs for 10 weeks, one afternoon per week- starting Tuesday 17th April until 26th June 2012
   from 3pm – 5.30pm at the Uplands House Centre.
• This course  will run subject to student numbers.
•  Course fee £240.00
  N.B this course is a full cost course- concessions are not available.

Learners will need to bring their own thread and tweezers for practice and assessment.
