Who Is The Course For
Adult learners who wish to train for a career in hairdressing and are able to study throughout the year.
Entry Requirements
Interview and assessment.
You should have good communication skills, enthusiasm and be committed.
Prior knowledge of hairdressing is preferable.

- Shampooing and conditioning
- Perming and relaxing (optional)
- Colouring and cutting
- Blow drying and setting
- Afro Caribbean hairdressing (optional)
- Reception skills
- Stock control
- Health and safety
How You Will Be Assessed
Practical, oral and written assessments and assignments throughout the course. You may also be required to work in the college commercial salon.
Where It Can Take You
Hairdressing NVQ Level 3 or junior stylist/improver.

Wednesday and Friday, 25 weeks
