People wishing to develop their knowledge in the techniques and theory of hairdressing.
Entry Requirements
- Interview and assessment
- Good communication skills, enthusiasm and commitment
- Prior knowledge of hairdressing is preferred

- Perming and relaxing
- Colouring and cutting
- Blow drying and setting
- Afro Caribbean hairdressing
- Reception skills
- Stock control
- Health and safety
How You Will Be Assessed
Practical, oral and written assessments and assignments are carried out throughout the course. You will also be required to work in the college commerical salon.
Where It Can Take You
Hairdressing NVQ Level 3 or junior stylist/improver.

NVQ registration and certification fee of around £75. Equipment and uniform costing around £375.
