Who Is The Course For
People who want an introduction into the world of make-up. You will acquire knowledge and practical application of various make-up techniques and the different methods needed to enhance a range of skin types, ages and colours.
Entry Requirements
- Interview and a briefing session
- Good communication skills, enthusiasm and commitment
- Previous make-up experience not essential, but would be an advantage

- Corrective make-up
- Day/evening make-up
- Bridal make-up
- Fashion/photographic make-up
- Period make-up
How You Will Be Assessed
One exam. Practical, oral and written assessments and assignments are carried out throughout the course.
Where It Can Take You
VTCT Level 2 in Beauty Therapy, Make-up Artist, VTCT Level 2 in Hairdressing,or employment.

- 1 evening per week
- This is a commercial course, funding is not available.
Are There Any Additional Costs
For students over 19 years old there is an additional VTCT registration and certification fee. You may have to pay £10 college registration fee. Equipment will cost around £190.
