This course is for 16-19 year olds who would like to progress in the field of hairdressing

                  • Monitor and maintain health and Safety practice in the salon
                  • Hairdressing Consultation support for Colleagues
                  • Colour hair to create a variety of Looks
                  • Cut women’s hair to create a variety of looks
                  • Style and dress hair using a variety of techniques
                  • Promote and sell products and services to clients
                  • Creative hairdressing design skills
                  • Hair colour correction
                  • Manage the creation of a hair style collection

                  How You Will Be Assessed

                  • Test papers
                  • Written assignments
                  • Practical assessments on clients
                  • Portfolio building

                  Where It Can Take You

                   

                  A supervisory or managerial position in a salon or similar establishment.
                  Higher Education courses such as a HND/HNC in Salon Management or Beauty Therapy
