FAQs for Parents/Carers of U18s

How will I be kept informed about my son/daughter’s progress?
A  Progress reports will be available during the course of the year. You will also be able to discuss your son/daughter’s progress at parents’ evenings.

What if my son/daughter cannot attend College?
A  Inform the College by contacting the relevant School Office and leaving a message for the Personal Tutor saying when your son/daughter is expected to return.


What happens if my son/daughter is being bullied or harassed?
A  The College will not tolerate bullying or harassment. Students should inform their Personal Tutor or a member of staff in the Student Services Centre on 020 8501 8113/8104.

What happens if my son/daughter gets into trouble?
A  There are 3 stages in the Student Disciplinary Procedure depending on the level of seriousness. At each stage the student will have the right to put his/her case forward and you will be informed. Parents and carers will always be invited to attend any formal disciplinary meetings.
