At Waltham Forest College we are committed to supporting you every step of the way. We help our students make the right choices about what courses to study, which further learning path to take and which employers to apply to.
We aim to provide:
- Guidance on selecting your course, the course content and assessment pattern
- Teaching staff who are appropriately qualified and experienced
- Lessons that are well prepared and structured to help you complete your course successfully
- Regular opinions and comments on the work set. Work will be returned within two weeks if it has been handed in on time, unless specifically otherwise stated
- Assessment and records of your progress and details of your final achievements
- Guidance on how your achievements will be recognised to allow you to move on to other courses
- Learning support to provide help with language, maths and study skills
- Relevant work experience placements (if this forms part of your course)
- Other learning opportunities including study workshops, flexible learning cent
