This course is designed for age 16-19, 19+ Adults. This qualification will allow you to progress to take AM2 test and qualify for a JIB Gold card.

The entry requirements for this course are:

  • To have passed City and Guilds 2365 L3 or equivalent

  • You will be required to attend an informal interview

This course consists of the following modules:

  • 311 Applying health and safety legislation and working practices (Installing and maintaining

  • electrotechnical systems and equipment)

  • 312 Applying environmental legislation, working practices and the principles of environmental technology systems

  • 313 Overseeing and organising the work environment (Electrical installation)

  • 315 Planning, preparing and installing wiring systems and associated equipment in buildings, structures and the environment

  • 316 Terminating and connecting conductors, cables and flexible cords in electrical systems

  • 317 Inspecting, testing, commissioning and certifying electrotechnical systems and equipment in buildings, structures and the environment

  • 318 Diagnosing and correcting electrical faults in electrical systems and equipment in buildings

You will be assessed via:

  • OSAT method
