This course is designed for 16-18 year olds.
The NCFE Award for Employability Level 2 qualification will allow you to prepare for a career in the various private and public sector roles, from administration to front line customer service positions.
Learners will gain insight into the various career options available. You will learn about team building, problem solving, Health and Safety procedures and more.
You will take part in adventurous activities which relies on being resilient and a team player, all which are keys factors for developing your employability skills. With this course you will be able to be one step closer on applying for higher level course within the further education sector or an apprenticeship programme.
The course is scheduled over three days per week and will be a mixture of theory and practical lessons.
The College has strong links with the Hope in Haringey Chairty, which offers mentoring positions in various career roles The mentoring scheme will allow you to have one to one understanding of the role you are interested in and how you could achieve the desired skills to be successful within that industry.

Sector Overview
The Pathway to success course has been designed to ensure learners have the correct skills to work in a diverse range of sectors. It has been vocalised within many industries that employability skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem solving and resilience amongst many other skills are fundamental to the workforce. The course allows the learner to perfect these skills whilst providing the individual with the opportunity to review what type of industry would be best suited for them.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirements for this course are:
- 4 GCSEs at Grade 2 (E) or above including maths and English
- Assessment and interview
You will study GCSE or Functional Skills English and/or maths alongside your course so you can progress onto the next level.

- Practical assessments and some written assessments.

You will take part in various activities including sports and charity work.

Work Experience
You will be supported to complete 36-hours of work placement with an external employer linked to intended next step of study. This is a mandatory aspect of your programme.
