The VTCT (NVQ) Diploma in Barbering Level 2 qualification will allow you to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to advise and consult, and provide a range of cutting and barbering services specifically for men's hair, which includes creating facial hair shapes.
Learners will develop communication and customer service skills, practical skills and commercial skills, all of which are valued highly by employers.
The course is scheduled over 1 evening per week and will be a mixture of theory and practical lessons.

What will I study?
This course consists of the following modules:
- Advise and consult with clients
- Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
- Develop and maintain your effectiveness at work
- Cut men's hair using basic techniques
- Cut facial hair to shape using basic techniques
- Dry and finish men's hair
- Create basic outlines and detailing in hair
