This course is designed for 19+ adults.
The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic Make-up qualification will prepare you to enter the beauty or media sector as a specialist make-up artist, with the specific skill of providing fashion and photographic make-up services.
All the units in this qualification directly relate to the role of a specialist make-up artist.

Makeup artists can work in many roles and settings in various industries, specialising in weddings, events, editorial & fashion, television, film, theatre, and more.

What will I study?
This course consists of the following modules:
- Promote and sell products & services to clients
- Client care & communication in Beauty related industries
- Health & Safety practice in the salon
- Fashion and Photographic Make-Up

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed via:
- Continual assessment throughout the course
- Written assignments
- Written/online tests
- Portfolios of collated study evidence
Practical assessments are undertaken on paying clients and must be completed in a commercially acceptable timescale.
In addition to timetabled classes there is provision for independent study time. Students will undertake independent learning, investigation and research and bring this to present and share in subsequent classes.
