This course is designed as a transition programme for students aged 16-18 who are wanting to progress onto either the Digital Production Design and Development T-Level or Digital Support Services T-Level.
It is for anyone who is looking to start a career in the Software Production or Digital Industries.

You will study this course for 1 year.
This course will lead to progression onto:
- Digital Production Design and Development T-Level
- Digital Support Services T-Level
Upon successful completion of one of the above T-Levels there is an opportunity for progression to higher level courses such as an HND, higher-level apprenticeship, university degree or employment.
The entry requirements for this course are:
- 4 GCSEs at Grade 9 to 4 (A*-C) or equivalent qualification, including English and a humanities/computer science.
- Ideally you will have achieved a Grade 9 to 4 in maths*.
You will be required to attend an informal interview which may include completing an assessment based on your prior qualifications.
*If a Grade 4 in maths has not been achieved, you will be learning this alongside your Transition Programme with the expectation to have achieved this by the time you progress onto the chosen T-Level.

- Explore data analysis solutions
- Design a cyber security resilience plan
- Produce digital solutions
- English, maths and digital skills
- Work experience with an employer(s) on an industry placement.
