We also provide tailored support for SEND students, ensuring every learner has what they need to thrive.
You can grow your skill set even further through enrichment activities like Debate Club, Coding Club, and short courses such as First Aid. These are great ways to build confidence, improve communication and gain valuable experience in problem-solving, teamwork and leadership.
All of these activities don’t just support your learning, they also strengthen your CV, boost your UCAS personal statement and help you stand out when applying for jobs, apprenticeships or university.
- Get Rewards
At Waltham Forest College we believe hard work, dedication and positive engagement should be recognised and rewarded.
Students who commit to their learning and get involved in college life can earn rewards ranging from class trips to fun activities like theme parks, go-karting and cinema visits. We also celebrate individual achievements through awards such as the Jack Petchey Award, recognising those who go above and beyond.
Our annual Student Awards ceremony is a highlight of the year and a chance to celebrate students who have made outstanding progress, shown resilience or contributed to the college community in a meaningful way.
Many of our students also take part in skills competitions, where they have the opportunity to showcase their talents and represent the College. These events have led to some fantastic successes, with students being recognised and rewarded for their skill and effort on a wider stage.
