Want to earn while you learn? Apprenticeships allow you to work with an employer four days a week and study at college one day a week. A great choice if you already know the career path you want to follow.

As an apprentice, you’ll spend most of your time in the workplace, developing practical skills, while also attending college on a day-release or block-release basis to build your knowledge. This mix of on-the-job and off-the-job training means you can put into practice what you learn in the classroom.

Our offering

At Waltham Forest College we currently offer Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships in the following areas:

Business Administration | Childcare | Electrotechnical | Hairdressing | Plumbing, Gas & Non-Domestic

The College’s Apprenticeship Team may be able to help you in sourcing an employer to undertake your Apprenticeship. Please note this will depend on the current offer by the College. If you are already in employment and wish to undertake an Apprenticeship, an advisor from the Apprenticeship Team will be able to assist your query.
