The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Treatments is a vocationally related qualification and is focused on reducing hair growth and photo rejuvenation of the skin using intense pulse light and laser treatments.

This qualification requires you to develop skills to carry out both IPL and laser treatments using our onsite Carlton Clearlight IPLmachine and Nu TriLaze Plus laser machine.

The course is scheduled over 1 day and 1 evening per week and will be a mixture of theory and practical lessons.

The global laser technology market was sized valued at 3.6 billion pounds in 2022 and it expected to expand at a compound annual growth of 18.4% from 2023-2030.
Laser treatments can generate between £200 and £400 per hour so can be transformational to a salon or clinic's revenue and profits. Laser technology can involve a significant investment, perhaps the largest a salon will make.
The primary purpose of the laser qualification is to prepare learners for employment in the advanced aesthetic industry providing hair reduction and skin rejuvenation treatments using LASER and Intense Pulsed Light Systems.
