What will I study?
On the Construction Electrical Skills Level 1 course, learners will study a range of basic topics, including health and safety in the construction environment, safe use of hand tools and electrical tools, and an introduction to electrical principles. They will learn how to install simple wiring systems, such as basic circuits, switches, and sockets, as well as how to read simple diagrams and follow instructions. The course also covers good working practices, problem-solving skills, and an overview of career pathways within the electrical and construction industries.
