  • Entry Requirements

    The entry requirements for this course are:

    • A good standard of English and maths
    • Assessment and interview
    • Employment or voluntary placement within an adult care setting is recommended
    • Commitment to completing workplace evidence and portfolio tasks
    • If required, you will study GCSE or Functional Skills English and/or maths alongside your course so you can progress to the next level.

  • Work Experience

    You must complete workplace-based evidence as an essential part of this programme.

    Learners are expected to be working or volunteering within an adult care environment to support the completion of practical assessments and portfolio evidence.

    You will also be offered opportunities to actively engage with industry-related employers and take part in events to increase your personal development.
