Mental Health First Aid & Advocacy Level 2
The Mental Health First Aid & Advocacy Level 2 Certificate is designed for individuals who want to understand mental health and learn how to proactively support colleagues or employees experiencing mental ill health.
Delivered through a highly supported online model, your studies will begin with a face-to-face induction on campus. Throughout the 16 weeks, you will attend a one-hour weekly live group session via Microsoft Teams where your teacher will introduce the key concepts for that week. You will then complete your learning and assessments through independent study using our dedicated online platforms, with flexible tutor support available whenever you need it. You will explore how to recognise the signs of mental distress, how to offer immediate first-aid support, and how to champion a mentally healthy environment in your workplace.
Duration: 16 weeks. Face-to-face induction, followed by a 1-hour weekly live online session plus independent study.
