This course is designed for 16-19 and 19+year olds.
The NCFE CACHE Diploma in Childcare Level 1 course will provide you with an understanding of the skills and knowledge required to progress. This is Year 1 (Level 1) of a 2 Year (Level 2) course. Upon successful completion, you will have the option to progress to a Level 2 in Childcare or Health & Social Care.
Our Childcare and Health and Social Care Course is an introductory course for people interested in working in Early Years and/or Health and Social Care settings.
Throughout this course you will be trained and assessed to achieve a CACHE qualification as well as receive a minimum of 36 hours work experience in a childcare or health and social care environment.
The course is scheduled over 3-4 days per week.

The entry requirements for this course are:
- Interview and assessment
- Clear & enhanced DBS check (provided by the College)
If required, you will have the opportunity to study GCSE maths and/or English alongside your course so you can progress onto the next level.
