The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting course will allow you to pursue a career in Finance and Accounting.

This course is an entry level accounting qualification which is ideal for anyone wishing to study accountancy and finance as it covers a broad range of core accounting skills, as well as accountancy-related business skills and personal skills.

Key themes have also been introduced throughout the qualification including technology, ethics, sustainability and communication. This course will provide you with an opportunity to gain your first professional qualification within this field and give you the ability to develop your skills to an advanced level.

Waltham Forest College is putting sustainability at the heart of everything that we do, and in this course, you will also learn how you can conduct accounting sustainably, such as activities that have an impact on the social, environmental and economic performance of a business. The Government's requirement on making tax digital also reduces the carbon footprint of a business when completing tax returns.

The course is scheduled over 3 days per week and will be a mixture of theory and practical lessons.

  • Sector Overview
