Sector Overview
The Accounting and Finance sector plays a critical role in the global economy by providing essential financial management services to businesses, organisations and individuals.
The sector encompasses a wide range of activities, including financial planning, analysis, reporting, auditing, taxation, and risk management. It serves as the backbone of decision-making processes and ensures the efficient allocation and utilisation of financial resources.
The UK's financial services industry has faced many challenges over the past few years, but it has met them head on. Accountants, and the accounting functions, are the backbone of any business and, as such, roles in finance are applicable to every industry.
