There are a range of full and part-time job opportunities available, in both the ‘Curriculum’ and ‘Business Support’ Teams, including:

Learning Support Practitioners (LSPs): LSPs provide support on either a 1:1, small group, or shared basis to the college students with SEND and additional needs.  Experience in working in post 16 roles and a minimum GCSE/Level 2 English and maths qualification are required; specialisms and prior industry experience is recognised e.g., Construction & Trades, IT, Mechanics, Hairdressing, Travel & Tourism. Flexible and enthusiastic individuals with experience in promoting awareness of SEND and good practice are welcome.

A Levels Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, Economics, English Literature, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology and Physics): Waltham Forest College is seeking to recruit experienced A Level teachers to join the team of inspiring educators. This is an amazing opportunity to drive and shape the new A Level curriculum, bringing fresh perspective and innovation to the classroom.

Trainee Teaching: Teaching creates futures and is one of the most exciting, interesting, and rewarding careers going. The College has full-time, part-time, trainee teaching and flexible contracts available, offering competitive salaries plus benefits and specialist market supplements.
