Leyton Orient Trust awards 'inspiring' students on the College Study Programme at Waltham Forest College

“Inspiring” college students were awarded by Leyton Orient Trust for their commitment, positive approach to learning, attendance and being good role models.

Youngsters studying for diplomas in sport on the trust’s College Study Programme delivered in partnership with Waltham Forest College were recognised for their achievements at a recent ceremony.

Twelve students who achieved 95 per cent attendance or above and five students who made significant progress were handed certificates and vouchers for Westfield Stratford City at the ceremony at Leyton Orient Football Club on Friday January 12.

Andree Selner, Leyton Orient Trust, Head of Education said: “It’s been a great start to the academic year and we wanted to take the time to congratulate all learners on their achievements.

“It’s also a good opportunity for the teachers to highlight those learners that deserve special recognition for their efforts – inspiring others to follow their fantastic example.”
